I've always loved art, animals, travel, and spending time in nature. Over the years I've been lucky enough to travel to different parts of the world and experience new places, people, and cultures. Those experiences continue to inspire my artwork today.

Wild Lilli brings together two things that have always been important to me — creativity and animals. Through my custom pet portraits and abstract art, I create colourful artwork inspired by the things I love and the stories that shape our lives.

Why I Create Pet Portraits

Animals have always been part of my life.

Growing up, our pets weren't just animals we owned — they were part of the family. Like many pet owners, I've experienced the joy, companionship, and sometimes the heartbreak that comes with loving them.

What stays with me most isn't how they left, but how they lived. Their personalities, funny habits, and the memories we shared.

That's what inspired my pet portraits. I wanted to create artwork that celebrates the pets who make our lives better, whether they're still beside us today or remembered with love.

The Story Behind Wild Lilli

The name Wild Lilli comes from the Mount Cook Lily, one of New Zealand's most beautiful alpine flowers.

Like much of my artwork, it reflects my love of nature and colour, plus resilience and perseverance.

Whether I'm creating a custom pet portrait or an abstract artwork, my goal is always the same — to create something uplifting, personal, and meaningful.

I believe the things we love deserve to be celebrated.
